Restoring America’s Natural Infrastructure
Reforest America Impact Fund (RAIF) is driving one of the largest private-public reforestation and wildfire-resilience initiatives in U.S. history. Through large-scale reforestation, wildfire prevention, and ecosystem restoration, we’re building a new generation of nature-based infrastructure that protects America’s lands, powers local economies, and advances national sustainability and resilience goals.

The Wildfire Crisis
Over the past decade, wildfires have burned more than 70 million acres of U.S. forest—destroying 31% of national tree cover, costing nearly $893 billion annually, and claiming over 42,000 American lives each year from smoke exposure and fire.
This crisis threatens not only our environment, but our economy, health, and national security.
Our Response
RAIF is answering that challenge through launching the California Impact Project, a landmark initiative restoring 1.5 million acres of Northern California forest and planting over 750 million native trees. These projects sequester hundreds of millions of tons of CO₂, and create thousands of jobs in rural communities.
